LION'S TOOTH COMICS SCHOOL
Summer sessions for kids and teens (ages 8-17)
Lion's Tooth Comics School is a fundraising effort to keep our bookstore afloat and help fund comics-related programming.. For one week participating kids and teens (ages 8 to 17) work on a comic story from beginning to end, from writing, to thumbnails, to pencils and inking. The work from each session is then be collected in a zine launched during a special event for friends and family (and the public!) at Lion's Tooth.

2025 RECAP
It's a wrap on the 2025 Summer sessions of Lion's Tooth Comics School! We had 22 students in 4 sessions during July and August. Instruction was provided by Moritz Junker, with supervision by Lion's Tooth co-owners Cris Siqueira and Shelly McClone-Carriere. Moritz is a cartoonist and Lion's Tooth artist-in-residence, having been selected by industry professionals for the 2025 Dandelion Comics Residency.

ON THE RISE is the anthology of comics by kids and teens that came out of the July sessions of Lion's Tooth Comics School. Stories by Alex (age 12), Fi (age 11), Mason (age 13), Diego (age 12), Pipp (age 12) and Arely (age 10).
2025 STARS OF FOREVER features comics by Miles (age 14), Ingrid (age 8), Shazia (age 18), Ruby (age 10), Nazmenah (age 18), Lily (age 9), Reena (age 8) and Shawn (age 14).
A PINCH OF EVERYTHING collects work by Lola (age 13), Elliot (age 11), Vida (age 11), Eero (age 11), Elijah (age 12), Emmett (age 13), Iris (age 12) and Moe (age 18).
