Hey, it’s me Francisco Ramirez, most people call me Fran.
Okay, I graduated from Columbia College of Chicago with a Bachelors in Art with a Major in Art and Design and Minor in Art History. I have been screen printing for a long time now, mostly creating event posters or “gigposters” as some would call it.
My work goes from abstract to absurd, serious to flatout goofballs. Some of my work is collage based and illustrated as well. Matters how I feel that day.
I have work that has been acquired by the Whitney Museum of American Art, National Museum of Estonia and my mom's house.

Featured kid artist Mason Unger
Surprise treat: a copy of Mason's mini comic inspired by the videogame character Piggy.
Hi! Mason here. I have been writing and illustrating books most of my life. My journey started when I was 4 years old and I created a book titled "Rockets" at a school literacy event. That experience inspired me to make more books. My
passion for comics sprouted when I was 5 years-old and I was attending taekwondo classes. A karate character known as Board Breaker popped into my brain. He is featured in many of my comics.

Milo Miller and QZAP, the Queer Zine Archive Project
Launched in 2003, QZAP (the Queer Zine Archive Project) initially began as a way of providing activists a way to access information published in queer zines through digitized copies in an online archive. What started as about 20 digitized documents from a collection of 300 has grown to have almost 600 zines online and a physical collection of 2,500+ materials. The collection is mostly zines, but also single page flyers, ephemera like punk patches, buttons and stickers; and a small collection of multimedia formats, including records, audio and video cassettes, and other queer-produced DIY media.
Milo Miller is an active zinemaker and the co-founder of QZAP, the Queer Zine Archive Project.
Beginning with their earliest zines in 1992, their work is a playful lens on queer culture, media and current events. They have produced several serial zines - Nikita’s Boot (1992-93); Mutate (1999-2008); Gendercide (2005-2011); Rumpy Pumpy (2012-present), and a number of stand-alone zines including the cookzine Bananarchy Now; Us Amazonians - A Kirsty MacColl Fanzine; Bootch, Please; Metasnax, and several others.
Milo’s work at QZAP focuses on the importance of the stories and narratives that are told through queer zines in ways and about subjects that are rarely discussed in other forms of queer media. Part of the impact of their work is that they, and their co-founder and other collective members, are explicitly of the communities that are creating the material that they archive. Self-identified as a queer punk zinemaker, they recognize and uplift the notion that their archive is important not just for the preservation and accessibility of the ephemeral material it houses, but also as a place for community building and where folks can come to find themselves and fellow travelers.
Currently, Milo lives in the Milwaukee neighborhood of Riverwest, where they plot non-violent revolution around a boomerang formica table with their nesting partner-in-crime, the cats they co-parent (Kichel and Max), and their pet rock Nigel.
